In August 2018, I started the search for my dream dress. I always envisioned myself in a Galia Lahav or Berta dress. I was definitely looking for a lavish dress with ornate detail. At this point I was I was unaware of the brand Yaniv Persy. I wasn’t sure if I was going to find what I was looking for considering the fact that I live in Edmonton and the price point of those dresses is quite high.

My first Bridal appointment was at The Bridal Boutique in Edmonton. As soon as I walked into the Bridal Boutique I saw the rack with the LAVISH by Persy dresses. My Bridal Consultant immediately realized that I was looking for a ‘couture’ looking dress. She explained to me that the designer of Persy used to be on the design team Dior and Galliano and he decided to go out on his own. She also told me that it was my lucky day since it was the last day of the Persy Trunk Show. I told her I wanted to try on the Jasmine and Sophia dresses. Since it was my first time trying on Bridal gowns, the consultant pulled six other dresses at various price points and by various other designers. I decided to start with my least favourite. After trying on the first six dresses, I wasn’t getting the ‘Bridal Feels’ that everyone talks about. I was so excited to try on dress number seven – the Jasmine Dress by Yaniv Persy . As soon as I put her on, I just knew this was the one. My body language changed and I started to cry. I didn’t even get a chance to try on the Sophia Dress because I was already so in love with the Jasmine.

Yanvin Persy delivered everything I was promised. The dress arrived in Edmonton from Israel exactly 6 months after the day of purchase. When I saw her for the first time she took my breath away, just like she did when I first saw her. I didn’t think it was possible, but my dress was even more beautiful than the sample I fell in love with six months earlier.

Fast forward to my wedding day – I felt so Beautiful and Angelic. I am so grateful Yanvin Persy came up with a way to make affordable couture, which is, in my opinion, is even more beautiful and lavish than Galia Lahav and Berta Bridal! The Jasmine Dress from Lavish By Persy is a work of art.
