Depending on the style, it may take 3-4 months, but leave time for alterations. Why the wait? off-the-rack can be shorter depending on style availability and our artisans need time to craft up your creation. Traditional bridal boutiques usually require up to a year lead time to deliver your dress. We cut that in half by selling direct to you – and by employing some pretty savvy supply chain practices, if we do say so ourselves (but we won’t bore you with those details).
Need your dress faster, you last-minute bride? We are able to accommodate rush orders. Just get in touch with us with the styles you’re interested in and your wedding date and we’ll let you know what’s possible!

All of our gowns can be made fit to measure, which means we can offer customization options at checkout – just like at fancy boutiques (except without the sales pitch). Want anything different or have something else in mind? Just ask us! Our dressmakers will work with you to make it happen in additional pricing if possible to create your wish. Each style offers some standard customizations that we think are well suited to each silhouette. Think: train length, sleeve length, monogramming (!). Looking for something different, that isn’t offered? Get in touch! 
We also strive to keep customization prices very reasonable. We simply charge the cost of the pattern change, additional fabric, sewing labor, etc – and steer clear of those exorbitant bridal alterations.

We didn’t know this until we tried on our own wedding dresses, but “Bridal Sizing” is a strange sizing convention that is usually two sizes off from standard sizing – and in the wrong direction might we add! A “Bridal” XS-XL check our size chart (hyper link) our dresses are sized standard comparable to contemporary because that just makes sense! So order the size you normally buy in regular clothing.

You may end up needing alterations unless you fit to measure the chances are smaller (many brides do, especially as the wedding draws near, we’ve seen brides go through major size fluctuations in the weeks before the big day), but we want your dress to start as close to size as possible. If you’re a true 4 order a 4. If you’re between measured sizes, always order up measure to fit. It’s as simple as that.See our size chart on each gown’s customization page to compare against your measurements. In between sizes? Order the size of your largest measurement (i.e. if you’re a size 4 in the bust, but size 6 in the waist, order the size 6). Every body is different and your dress may need some tweaking in alterations to fit you like a glove. And, even if your dress fits perfectly out of the box (lucky you!), we’ve also seen many brides’ sizes fluctuate as it gets closer to the big day. We recommend getting in touch with an experienced bridal seamstress* in your area to check availability to ensure your perfect dress also fits you perfectly. We will try to Help on that

All of our gowns are designed thoughtfully with the requirements of different body types in mind. And construction details such as center back zippers and deep whip-stitched hems are designed to be alterations friendly.We also offer some fit customizations to make alterations easier: lowering waistlines for taller brides, offering longer hem lengths for taller brides, or raising necklines or backs for additional modesty or coverage. Should you require more room in the bust or shoulders, we recommending sizing up.  Your personal PERSY stylist is happy to talk through your specific needs and recommend the best customizations for your body type. We inspect and take pics of all merchandise before shipment to ensure the right item is sent with no defects. Upon receipt of your items please inspect it immediately and contact us with any issues at: sales@persy.co.uk

Unfortunately, If your order of Persy’s gowns is custom-made to order, final gowns, once purchased, cannot be returned unless it is off the rack standard sizing XS-XXL. If you need to make any changes to your order, email us ASAP within Max 7 days after order made so we can modify or cancel your order before our atelier get to work. After 7 days of work further customization can not be applied, If your final gown arrives with any issues (damaged or not what you ordered) get in touch with us ASAP so we can to make it right: sales@Persy.co.uk

We make the length measurement in 5cm increments so we’ll round your measurement up.
You are not required to do anything else at this stage, besides plan the rest of your big day, of course! 🙂
